Common questions
Everything you need to know about senior class blankets, per-athlete personalization, senior night logistics, and how Spectator Sport handles senior orders.
For each senior athlete: full name, jersey number, position (or instrument, role, club), graduation year, and any team accolades you want featured. Send the list as a spreadsheet, a CSV, or even a typed-up document; our team handles formatting. School-wide design elements (mascot, colors, school name, motto) stay consistent across all blankets.
Plan for 6 to 10 weeks from order placement to delivery. That includes 48 hours for design mockups, 1 to 2 weeks for design approval, and 4 to 6 weeks of production for D-Luxe NubaySoft or 6 to 8 weeks for the premium Swanky tier. For a typical late-season senior night, place the order at the start of the season at the latest.
Yes. Photo printing requires high-resolution source files (300 DPI minimum, ideally larger). The result is stunning on the D-Luxe NubaySoft and Digital NubaySoft tiers; team photos can fill the central panel of the blanket. Individual portraits work best as smaller insets alongside name and number. Send what you have and we'll mock it up so you see the result before committing.
Per-blanket pricing depends on tier (D-Luxe, Digital, Rapid Print, NubaySoft Lite, Swanky), volume, and personalization complexity. Most schools cover the cost through team fees, booster club budgets, or a small ask of senior parents. Some schools run senior blankets as a presale fundraiser through fundraiserblanket.com, which can fund the whole order. We give a custom estimate based on your senior class size and tier preference.
Yes. We ship to the school in a single bulk shipment, but each blanket is individually packaged with the athlete's name on the package. Ready to distribute at senior night, senior breakfast, or graduation without any sorting on your end.
Yes. Single school, multiple sport-specific blankets is common. Football team gets one design, cheer squad gets another, marching band gets a third. School mascot stays consistent; sport-specific elements (positions, instruments, team motto) vary. We handle the production batching.
The Swanky Blanky is Spectator Sport's newest and softest keepsake blanket. It has plush faux fur on the back and your school's custom design printed on the front using NubaySoft 2.0, our new super-soft print fabric. It's a favorite for cheer, dance, and drill team seniors, but any program can order it. The whole idea is a gift seniors actually keep and use for years, the kind that ends up on a dorm bed rather than in a drawer.
For senior keepsake blankets, most schools choose D-Luxe NubaySoft (600 GSM, most popular) or Swanky (1060 GSM, our premium tier). Swanky is roughly 75% heavier and feels noticeably more substantial; it's the right choice if the blanket is the primary senior gift. D-Luxe is the right choice if you want top quality at standard pricing. Both print photo-realistically.
Yes, and it's common. We can run a presale option where parents and grandparents order their own version of the senior's blanket (without the per-athlete personalization, or with it). This is often handled as a presale campaign through fundraiserblanket.com that runs alongside the school order.
Every blanket is one generous size, 60x80 inches. It's big enough to use on a bed or wrap up in at the game, and substantial enough to feel like a real keepsake. One size keeps it simple: every senior gets the same blanket.
